" CHRISTMAS DAY ".
Written and recorded at home on Christmas Day 2012.
I was all alone until I felt a pressence and felt inspired to write and
record a song about how I was feeling. I
struck up a conversation with the strange pressence I felt that was there with
me. The lyrics speak for themselves and
the music flowed naturally and without too much effort. I felt "guided
by the pressence" and allowed the song to shape itself.
I consider myself a Spiritual man and not a religious man, so this
experience on Christmas Day was quite strange. I guess I must have just been in
the Zone on the day to write a song titled "Christmas Day".
I went to Sunday School until I was in my mid teens and can almost recite
sections of The Bible backwards.
I have read hundreds of books on various religions and respect everyone's right to either
believe or not believe in a God.
Who ever your God is that is ok with me, for I AM part of creation
and creation was created by God.
Intelligent design encompasses all our lifes and we share this Earth
with many other strangely designed lifeforms.
Man does not have to die to go to Heaven for Heaven is already here on
Earth if we should only open our eyes and hearts.
We create our own destiny by the deeds we do and the seeds we sow, its up
to ourselves to live by own own moral and ethical codes.
Be true to yourself and treat all
life with respect and compassion and life will do the same back. You can step out of the Darkness and Light
your own way on your journey through life.
Every day radiate Light and Love and the life around you will
respond in a positive, helpful way. Dont swim against the tide but go with the
flow and all obstructions will fall away.
Like Jesus in my song, we are all the Son's of God for we were
created out of His "likeness" and composed of the DNA of
the Universe. We are all connected
and there is no seperation between God and ourselfs. He is part of us and we
are part of Him.
Life is eternal and each life a journey in discovering "who we are?"
and "who created us?"
"In the beginning God created the Heavens and
the Earth
and said " let there be Light" and there was Light".
